You will get wet on this ride!
There were no riders milling around the parking lot (St Peters Commuter lot) when I arrived right at 7. I saw a Moffet's & Schiebel's cars, so I hoped they still planned on going out to the ferry. I got on the road quickly and started hammering hoping I could catch them before, if not at, the ferry landing - and I did, about 2 or 3 miles before turning off Hwy C to the Golden Eagle.

We made our way across Calhoun County then across the IL river on the Brussels ferry, and meandered up the River Road to Pere Marquette Lodge for brunch. We then retraced our steps, and the rains opened up as we landed back in St Charles County and started making our way west on Hwy C.
